About

Cottenham Roller Hockey Club started in May 2006 with the guidance of Tony Noble inspiring a group of parents to form and get funding for a new Roller Hockey Club.

We achieved funding from ‘Awards for All’  from the National Lottery, the Local Network Fund, and Cottenham Parish Council.  We also had generous financial support from local businesses : Pembrey Studio, Cottenham Newsletter, Cambridge Building Society, Accio Events, Ridgeons, and Marshall’s of Cambridge.  We have also been very fortunate to have been donated folding Roller Hockey goals from Borley Brothers General Engineering.

We are affiliated to the National Roller Hockey Association and play teams in the Eastern Counties League.

We are always looking for new players so if you are interested in having a go you can join us on a Thursday at 6:00 PM at the Sports Centre at Cambridge Regional College.  You will need basic skating skills & skates to try it out.   If you are interested in trying this exciting sport please contact Paula.    We look forward to seeing you !

The club continues to grow and is achieving great success in the leagues despite still being such a young club.  Look here to see where it all started.
